Live artwork by Brian Eno
The ambient legend and renowned producer has designed a brand new installation especially for bluedot, to be beamed onto the iconic Lovell telescope. Conceived as 'visual music',the artwork is a constantly evolving image-scape born from Eno's continous exploration into light as an artist's medium and the asethetic possibilities of geneerative software. He first created the piece to bring art to the increasing number of flat panel TVs and monitors that odten sit darkened and under-utilised. At Jodrell Bank, it is being shown using large-scale projections to create an enormous outdoor viusal installation.
